Dr. Guo is a well-known oncologist and Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Chicago's Chinatown.

Ms. Baker has been a leader in the Oriental Medical profession both nationally and locally since 1990. For 15 years Claudette was on the Board of Directors of The Illinois Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (ILaaom), and during her Presidency from 1996-7, she and ILaaom lobbyist, Steven Morrill, passed the first legislation that created a license for acupuncturists in the State of Illinois.  In 2004 she came out of 'political retirement’ and successfully lead the legislative campaign that removed the physician referral requirement, conferring the status of 'independent practice' to licensed acupuncturists.

Claudette has organized and taught classes for the Institute of Chinese Herbology Certification program for acupuncturists, and has taught Chinese Herbs for oncology at the national level to her colleagues. Her practice consists primarily of internal medicine, integrative oncology, ob/gyn, fertility support,  pediatrics and acupuncture orthopedics. She has studied Auricular Acupuncture extensively and holds a certification from the AAAOM for laser acupuncture which she uses for traumatic brain injuries and stroke rehab.

In 2009, Ms. Baker was appointed to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professonial Regulation, Board of Acupuncture, and is currently serviing as the Chairman.  She is also a member of the Society for Integrative Oncology.
